DIVERSIDAD, AMOR Y RESPETO por Sebastián Correa
Recuerdo que cuando era pequeño y adolescente, las cosas eran muy distintas; el rechazo, la burla y el irrespeto abundaban en la calle, las aulas de clase y hasta en la familia señalaban al diferente, lo arrinconaban y maltrataban…. recuerdo una y otra vez cómo nos hacían de menos, y solo nos usaban para fines académicos o estéticos….. hoy, viendo tantas manifestaciones… Me pregunto … que estamos haciendo con tanta libertad e información? Los nacidos desde el año 2000 tienen el mundo a sus pies…. tienen la tolerancia que nosotros no tuvimos, el respeto y la posibilidad de hacer cosas diferentes con su libertad y espacios que en mi generación se dio con lucha, oposición y respeto.
Este fin de semana de la diversidad he visto redes inundadas de imágenes y colores! Pero la diversidad no es solo diversión! No solo es exigir respeto imponiendo lo diferente que somos en la estética y el gusto…. nos ganamos el respeto cuando lo damos…. si! Cuando valoramos al otro por su alma y no por su cuerpo o las imágenes llenas de filtros que coloca en la redes sociales, el respeto nos lo ganamos, cuando, sin juzgar a nadie independiente de sus preferencias sexuales, políticas o religiosas escuchamos la posición contraria sin imponer la propia.
Salimos a gritar a la calle en un fandango exuberante de color, piel y brillo…. en una propuesta constante por reclamar espacio…. pero….. damos nosotros el espacio que reclamamos? En mi recorrido por este camino veo constantemente como los “nuestros” violentamos al que piensa diferente, agredimos al de sentimientos nobles, abusamos del cariño que nos quieren ofrecer; nos burlamos de los propios y desechamos relaciones y personas por cosas insignificantes… de forma superficial desaparecemos en silencio sin profundizar en la persona, en su esencia y su valor! Veo valentía al marchar pero una profunda cobardía en el compromiso y la persona…. Buscamos encontrar ese ser “divino” Pasando por encima de lo humano…. la superficie nos distrae… un cuerpo atlético, tonificado, un prototipo de belleza trillado pero… tan vigente! Que molesta… nos aparta de la esencia del ser humano….
A los diferentes no nos señalan por la preferencia en la cama…. eso me queda claro….. los diferentes somos los que nos hacemos a un lado solos!! cuando actuamos de forma insensible, grotesca, agresiva, nos aislamos cuando la superficialidad de nuestras cabezas no nos dejan ver más allá de la persona….. cuando desechamos una vida entera por un cuerpo que no esta “bueno”. Somos superficiales! Casquivanos…. eso es lo que la sociedad nos cobra….. y es el espacio que creo se debe recuperar….. El valor de la persona! En su esencia completa….. por lo que tiene adentro! Y no lo que exteriorizó en su afuera…
